Witness this wonderful ceremonial event at Hampton Court Palace when the Queen’s Barge Master is charged to carry a ‘Stela’ down river under oars to HM Tower of London.
The Queen’s Row Barge ‘Gloriana’ will majestically lead a flotilla of traditional rowing boats down river through Teddington Lock to Richmond before making its way to HM Tower of London.
You will be able to see the flotilla along the Thames during the course of the morning of Sunday 23rd April. It is scheduled to reach Richmond Lock by 12.20pm.
If you decide to take a river trip onboard one of Turk Launches boats, you’re very likely to catch some of the action as we cruise along the Thames.
The Tudor Pull is organised by The Thames Traditional Rowing Association.More information can be found at www.traditionalrowing.com
